Bianca Thuot has been a shiatsu massage therapist and osteopath, specializing in perinatal shiatsu for over 15 years. She recently finished her studies in osteopathy. Her thesis covered breastfeeding problems in mothers.

Trained in shiatsu in Montreal and Toronto, she has also done a course on osteodynamics and doula (birthing coach) training with Alternative-Naissance.

As a mother of 2 children, her pregnancies and delivery have helped her to experience and understand the dynamics of the body and mind throughout this period of intense changes. Her intuition and exceptional ability to listen allow her to support and help women throughout the perinatal period. She is able to maximize her results with her first-hand knowledge of maternity, the psychological mechanisms associated with pregnancy and delivery as well as the various physical and emotional parameters in play.

She collaborates with many doulas, midwives, lactation consultants and doctors.

She also offers various workshops for doulas, midwives and nurses working in hospitals on massaging women who are pregnant or in labour.

"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud
was more painful than the risk it took to blossom."
